A Million Roses

There’s an old Latvian song that was later remade into a Russian song that was later done by a Korean singer and then redone by a Korean group with traditional instruments… called “A Million Roses”. It’s a very beautiful song. I’ve been listening to the Korean traditional version lately, which was done by a group called IS (Infinity of Sound). The song is here:

And… to practice my Korean translation skills, here’s a translation of the lyrics:

This is a poor, angry, lonely love story
The girl that he loved shined like a star
As a humble tribute to his last love
He sold all the laughter and tears hidden in his paintings

**A million, million, million roses
He gives to you, to you, to you
The foolish man who knows nothing but love, nothing but love, nothing but love
Is devoted to your soul

His leaving, leaving, leaving beloved,
Who he gave everything without regrets, without regrets, without regrets
Amid the million, million, million roses
Don’t forget the love you coldly abandoned**

He’s been waiting outside her window since dawn
The rest of his life was changed with the million roses
The whole world laughed at his love
But when he saw her smile, he won the whole world

**repeat x2

There’s another verse after this, but I can’t find the lyrics. Anyway, enjoy!

I don’t have a future in graphic design

I was trying to design a logo for Tears of Moo using the Sothink Logo Maker, which is some pretty interesting logo-making software. My thoughts were that I needed an eye-catching logo for the site, and hey, how hard can it be to make?

However, this is what I came up with:

My beautiful one-eyed crying cow

Yeah… I clearly don’t have a future in graphic design.

Now Available – Fable 2 Theme Music Box Sheet Music

I’ve finally (more or less) finished the Fable 2 music box theme sheet music, and it’s now available on the Sheet Music section of my site. While I’m not completely happy with it, I think it’s as good as it’s gonna get, so here you go. Enjoy!
